We are proud to announce the formation of the Times Square Advertising Coalition (TSAC), a not-for-profit trade association.
The TSAC is made up of the key stakeholders dedicated to the promotion of Times Square as a high profile advertising market and brand. Our membership is committed to providing the highest level of quality products and services within Times Square.
Recent initiatives and changes within Times Square have highlighted the immediate need for an organization to serve as an industry voice to promote and protect the landscape of this unique destination.
Initially, the focus of the TSAC will be four-fold:
- Launch the organization with appropriate voice.
- Build and galvanize the membership.
- Work with the City administration to address specific aspects of the Broadway Plaza plan important to our membership.
- Produce and stage the “CrossRoads Awards” celebrating the creativity of Times Square.
The TSAC is supported by NYC & Company, the Times Square Alliance, the Broadway Association, and the Outdoor Advertising Association of America. Inaugural members include Clear Channel Spectacolor, Sherwood Outdoor, the WOW Factor, and P.R.omotion.
Additionally, we are proud to announce that Nicholas & Lence Communications (www.nicholaslence.com) has been retained to provide advisory, public relations, and community and government affairs support in addition to managing membership services for the organization.
