A message from our Chairman & President
Welcome to the website of the Times Square Advertising Coalition (TSAC). TSAC, a not-for-profit trade association, is made up of the Square’s key stakeholders, dedicated to the continued promotion of Times Square as a high profile advertising market and brand. Our membership is committed to providing the highest level of quality products and services within Times Square and to preserving and enhancing this iconic landscape.
Since our formation in 2009, TSAC has expanded its membership from founding members Clear Channel Spectacolor, Sherwood Outdoor, the WOW Factor, and P.R.omotion to include representatives from the full spectrum of OOH industry participants. Our organization now better reflects the interests of the area’s advertising community in this uniquely vibrant advertising district.
Some of our on-going areas of interest include the shifting focus from vehicular to pedestrian traffic on Broadway; the potential rerouting of the Thanksgiving Day Parade away from Times Square and several initiatives to further promote our industry such as a new midnight “show” on the Times Square digital signs. TSAC has also been called upon several times in the past year to use our signs to help promote important public sector causes, such as domestic violence awareness.
TSAC is proud to recognize amongst its supporters in interest, NYC & Company, the Times Square Alliance, the Broadway Association, and the Outdoor Advertising Association of America.
Nicholas & Lence Communications has been retained to provide advisory, public relations, community and government affairs support. Nicholas and Lence provides membership services for the organization.
We invite you to browse through the various elements of the TSAC Website. Therein, you will be able to view our archived gallery of the Square’s famed advertising spectaculars and access past issues of the TSAC Newsletter, which debuted last Fall. You can also see some photos of some recent efforts by TSAC to utilize our signs to generate attention for important public service messaging. Lastly, you will be able to browse through our membership list with the ability to jump to the individual member’s website when portals are provided.
Sincerely,
Alan High Fred Rosenberg
Chairman President
