(A) Event Tracking
(B) Custom Metric
(C) Custom Dimension
(D) Custom Filter
If you want to view data in reports by user categories then you need to create a Custom Dimension and then select the User-level Scope inside the Custom Dimension. The user-level scope allows you to store all the view data for your users by separating them into different categories like Bronze level, Gold level, and Platinum level.
You can create a custom dimension by going to Account, selecting your website or mobile app property, then in the PROPERTY column, you have to click on Custom Definitions and then Custom Dimensions. Next, you have to add a new Custom dimension, give it a name, and then select the user-level scope. Finally, you have to check the Active box and click on Create.
