Cancelled orders are not included in sales attribution metrics to more accurately reflect the sales actually received. If a person cancels an order then including them in sales attribution metrics will bump up the sales revenue and this will result in inaccurate sales metrics. After cancellation, the money is refunded and the sale should not be taken into account.
