Email Campaigns require manual tags on Destination URLs for tracking. You can use three parameters in the final URL for tracking your email campaigns. They are – (1) utm_source which is used to identify the Website or Advertiser that is sending the traffic. (2) utm_medium which is used to identify the marketing medium for example – Email. (3) utm_campaign which is the name of your campaign. Google Ads Campaign data are already imported using Auto-tagging so you are not required to use any manual tags. Autotagged Campaigns already have tags in their final URLs and any manual tags are not required.
